An early Thursday morning argument got violent in Central Sioux Falls. The victim was hospitalized with a serious injury.

Around 1:12 AM Sioux Falls Police were summoned to the 600 block of West 17th St. Lieutenant David McIntire says the series of events started inside, then moved outside.

The husband and wife were having an argument over the television when she went outside and he chased her. “The victim was trying to stop his wife from scratching his vehicle with a knife. She stabbed him in the chest.”

It was only one wound but it was life-threatening according to McIntire. At last report the 30 year-old victim was living, but his exact condition was not released.

Mirna Bolvito, 24, from Sioux Falls was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault-Domestic. Police say additional charges are possible.
