Kelly Clarkson fans along the east coast are likely feeling heartbroken this week after learning the artist had to cancel six of the remaining tour dates on her Piece by Piece tour. Clarkson will no longer be performing in Vienna, Va., Tampa, Fla., West Palm Beach, Fla., Raleigh, N.C., or Camden, N.J., as her doctor has instructed her to rest her voice.

"So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice!" Clarkson writes on Facebook. " I can't wait to get healthy and see y'all back on the road soon. I hate canceling and I am truly sorry to my fans that have been excited to see this show. Please know that I never cancel anything unless it's absolutely necessary."

The "Invincible" singer has been giving fans unique shows every night, including a new cover at every stop. Clarkson has performed everything from 'N Sync to Bonnie Raitt, and fans have been loving every second. The concerts have given fans (and the rest of the internet) a glimpse into Clarkson’s down-to-earth, lovably dorky personality, as she banters with the audience casually in between songs and throws decorum out the window. Prime examples include stopping singing “Breakaway” to hold a baby from the audience, and making an impromptu baby announcement of her own just so the audience wouldn’t think she was “on pills or drunk or something."

“I was totally not planning on announcing this, but I’m totally pregnant,” the star said at her L.A. show, continuing, "I’d like to apologize to my husband. That was not planned. I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or anything. I’m just so hormonal today … I haven’t vomited yet. That is a freakin’ win."

Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock are now expecting their second, a sibling to their 15-month-old River Rose.

The singer will resume her Piece by Piece tour on Oct. 1 in Ottawa, Ont.
