Kelly Clarkson and her husband, Nashville-based talent agent Brandon Blackstock, have just bought a lavish new home in one of the most exclusive areas of Los Angeles.

The superstar singer and Blackstock shelled out $8.5 million for a 9,839-square-foot mansion in an exclusive area of the San Fernando Valley. The newly built house was custom crafted with an eye for detail and luxury, featuring 100-year-old vintage reclaimed wood, handmade sliding barn pocket doors and custom blended brick flooring. The master suite features high ceilings, a private patio and fireplace, a sitting area and huge walk-in closets.

The pictures above depict high ceilings and wooden beams throughout the house, as well as custom light fixtures and wide plank white oak flooring. According to the listing with Dennis Chernov and the Chernov Team at Keller Williams, there's also a chef’s gourmet kitchen, three leather finish stone islands with marble pulls, handcrafted concrete sinks and many more top-flight amenities. The main house also has a home theater, a gym, a spa, a three-car garage, a video and game room and a temperature controlled wine cellar.

According to Variety, the grounds of the lavish estate offer an outdoor lounge, swimming pool, multiple fire features and a separate two-story guest house.

Despite its exceptional amenities, the new property is not nearly as elaborate as the 20,000-square-foot mansion Clarkson and Blackstock are selling in Tennessee. According to reports, they are moving from that residence to a farm closer to Nashville.
