Kane Brown's younger sister was stabbed multiple times on Tuesday (July 26), according to the singer and news outlets. Brown took to Facebook to ask for prayers and offer a warning to the person responsible.

"Prayers for my sister please," Brown writes. "I'm all the way out in Nebraska and get a text that she was stabbed 4 times! You better hope I don't find out who you are. I'm so sick to my stomach right now."

WRCB-TV in Chattanooga, Tenn., reports that Heidi Swafford was hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times in the neck and shoulder during a fight with another woman. Her injuries are not life-threatening, but the nerve damage may be permanent. Reporter Kelly McCarthy tweets that no one has been arrested, but warrants are on file for a 16-year-old female on attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault charges. Swafford is 19 years old. The incident happened on Woodside St. at about 4:30PM on Tuesday.

Brown is in Nebraska before weekend shows in Billings, Mont. and Salt Lake City, Utah, as part of Florida Georgia Line's Dig Your Roots Tour. He recently announced his own headlining tour — the Ain't No Stopping Us Now 2016 Tour will begin in November in Kalamazoo, Mich.

The 22-year-old rose to fame quickly last fall and winter when cover videos he posted on Facebook began to go viral, racking up millions of views. Since then he's released two singles on RCA Nashville and signed on to FGL's summer tour. He was named one of Taste of Country's 10 Hot Artists to Watch for 2016.

Brown was raised in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., and growing up was in choir with Lauren Alaina.
