A Sioux Falls jury deliberated six hours and returned a guilty verdict for a man charged with murder and manslaughter.

Jack Elbe of KDLT News reports that Jared Stone was found guilty on five of his six counts for the shooting death of 28-year-old Baptiste White Eyes outside the Lucky Lady Casino in Sioux Falls in April of last year.

The jury came back with the verdict of second degree murder, two counts of first degree manslaughter, and two other drug and firearm related charges.

The state ruled out the death penalty last October. They say the evidence did not meet the necessary requirement.
