John Rich, who won his season of 'Celebrity Apprentice' in 2011 while competing to benefit St. Jude, is a consummate and constant do-gooder. The country star will perform alongside Wynonna Judd and his Big & Rich band mate Big Kenny at an upcoming all-star event called St. Jude Presents John Rich & Friends.

The event serves as the second annual concert tee off for the 2013 Fed Ex St. Jude Classic. Proceeds from the concert, as well as the FedEx St. Jude Classic, allow St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to operate and to do what it does best, which is provide exceptional care to children fighting cancer and other deadly diseases, all the while ensuring that no family ever pays St. Jude for anything.

Comedian Larry the Cable Guy and actress Lisa Rinna will also be on hand to take part in the festivities.

"One of the greatest honors of my life's work is to help the kids at St. Jude," Rich says. "To bring music to their lives, and use music to raise funds for their care is something bigger than a hit song or a sold out concert."

He thanked those who are working alongside him in his St. Jude quest, saying, "I'm very appreciative to my friends Big Kenny, Wynonna, Larry the Cable Guy and Lisa Rinna for participating this year in our special event! This will be a great celebration 'For the Kids!'"

Judd chimes in, "From the first time I visited St. Jude years ago, I knew that it was a place I belonged,” adding, “As a mother, I look into the eyes of every child and I realize that they could easily be one of my children. As an artist, I ask myself, 'What can I do to bring a blessing to these wounded and hurting families?'"

The St. Jude Presents John Rich & Friends event will take place on June 4 at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in Memphis, Tenn.
