A singer-songwriter that has been known to mix traditional country music with rockabilly and honky tonk is going to be playing in Flandreau, South Dakota.  The eclectic Marty Stuart will be at the Royal River Casino on Thursday, August 21st, 2014.

With a career that has already spanned four decades, this four-time Grammy winner started performing at the age of 12.  In 1980, Stuart joined Johnny Cash's back-up band which eventually led to the marriage of Stuart and Cash's daughter, Cindy.  The two divorced before Stuart went on to a solo-career that led to many chart-topping songs in the 1990's.

Along with being a Grammy winner, Marty Stuart is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, a platinum recording artist, a preservationist of country music memorabilia, photographer and songwriter.  He is also the host of "The Marty Stuart Show," which has been on the air since 2008.

Tickets are still available to see Marty Stuart at Royal River Casino in Flandreau.  The show starts at 8pm and tickets are $40 for this 21+ show.
