Let’s face it – we’ve all seen some pretty cool videos over the years as people use their cell phones to capture a variety of things. But every once in a while a video – even a simple one – makes you stop and go “that is really cool.”

And you actually learn something in the process.

In this case, a guitar player took his iPhone 4 inside his instrument so the camera was looking out towards the strings. As he played you could actually see the strings vibrating.

Apparently this is because the iPhone shoots video differently than regular video cameras. According to Viral Nova:

The camera inside of the iPhone 4 captures video in a different way than your typical camera by using a rolling shutter. Instead of taking a bunch of pictures quickly, and then putting them together to make a video, the camera instead scans across the space. Therefore, the scene isn't completely captured in one frame.

Check out the awesome video!
