I-90 west from Sioux Falls to Rapid City is now open for travel.  However, drivers will experience snowy, icy and slippery conditions.  I-29 from Sioux Falls to the North Dakota border is open.

The northeastern part of the state was hit the hardest by the blizzard.  Webster reports a total of 16 inches of snow.

  • Today: Patchy blowing snow before 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 25. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
  • Tonight: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 12. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
  • Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 34. West wind 5 to 15 mph.
