How Marrying a DJ Has Changed My Husband’s Life – in His Own Words

The schedule of a DJ is not fun. Having my wife get out of bed at 3:42AM every morning, be done with work by noon and then going to bed by 8:30PM leaves little time for well, anything! Especially when I usually don't get home until 6:00PM. And when she gets bored in the afternoon, she starts to have complete conversations with our animals.

I know that I am the one that is married to my DJ wife, but because she is a DJ, I have to share her with many people. It seems there is always someone that wants something from her and wants to be her new friend.

One perk of having a DJ wife, I get to do fun things! I know when a concert comes to town, I already have tickets! I also get to see Skyforce games, Stampede games, Canaries games and any other sporting event that is at the Pentagon or Denny Sanford Premier Center.

If we go someplace that has jukebox, I know that my DJ wife will eventually start picking some music. Yes, many of the songs might be a bit obscure, because having a wife that works with music all day, she knows A LOT of different songs! Also, if that TV show "Name That Tune" was still on, she could go on that and win a lot of money! She knows way too many songs.

The best thing about being married to a DJ, I don't even have to pick up the phone to call her. I know the comfort of her voice is always on the radio dial.
