Hillary Scott is still getting used to her new family of five.

The Lady Antebellum singer welcomed twin daughters, Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn, 10 weeks ago, and she, husband Chris Tyrrell and the couple's 4-year-old, Eisele Kay, are adjusting to the changes. Scott goes into detail into an interview with People Magazine, on newsstands this week.

"You [definitely have] double the fatigue," she shares of the difference being pregnant with twins compared to a single baby. "I was sick in the beginning and it was always right around showtime so I had to take anti-nausea medicine that my doctor prescribed me, which, thank the Lord for that stuff."

But the twins are "a double blessing from the Lord" for the singer, who suffered a miscarriage in 2015. She was also doubly emotional when she found out she was expecting two babies.

“It was emotional, because I’m like, ‘Oh, we’re going to have as many babies in our house as I hoped we would have,’” Scott remembers thinking. "It just isn’t in the same timing that I thought it was going to be, but we are going to have our three.”

Twins don't run in either her or Tyrrell's families, so though they thought they might have to undergo fertility treatments in order to get pregnant again, they didn't — twins "just happened." Betsy and Emory were born on January 29, 2018.

Scott will make her stage return at this weekend's 2018 ACM Awards following her maternity leave.
