Highway, Road and School Closings

This has been quite a storm to say the least.  Mayor Mike Huether says Sioux Falls has never seen anything like this and that there's a good chance you will lose power tonight if you haven't already.

Highways and Roads that are closed

• Highway 38 into Rowena is closed
• 85th & Louise is closed
• 85th & Western is closed

School closings include the following

• Sioux Falls Public
• Sioux Falls Catholic
• SE Tech
• Brandon Valley
• Lennox

Expect conditions to worsen this evening.  High winds and heavy snow is expected anywhere from 6 to 10 inches.  This will compound conditions that are already bad.
