Recently law enforcement got a call about someone walking on I-229 in Sioux Falls.  Sergeant Swenson of the South Dakota Highway Patrol was dispatched to investigate.

The name of the young man walking was Tanner. He told Sergeant Swenson that he was walking to work. He makes the eight mile walk everyday.

Sergeant Swenson discussed Tanner's situation with his squad and they decided to work together and find Tanner a bike and on August 16, 2016 troopers from the Sioux Falls B squad presented Tanner with a new bicycle.
