RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - One person is hospitalized with injuries following high-speed chase in western South Dakota.

The Rapid City police department says officers were called to Best Buy at about 1:45 p.m. Monday after a man reportedly approached someone in the parking lot, brandished a handgun and stole the car.

Officers from the Rapid City and Sturgis police departments, the South Dakota Highway Patrol and the Meade County Sheriff's Office pursued the car along Interstate 90 until the suspect rolled the vehicle near mile marker 32.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The suspect's name has not yet been released.
