He will be in Sioux Falls with Eric Church on December 6th at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.  But this summer, Dwight Yoakam will also be in your family room!

With anticipation growing for the 2nd season of Stephen King's 'Under the Dome', a new addition to the cast has been announced.  Dwight Yoakam will be playing the part of Lyle Chumley who runs the Chester's Mill’s barbershop.   If you follow the storyline of 'Under the Dome', Lyle Chumley (Dwight Yoakam's character) will have a history with one of the main characters named "Big Jim" Rennie (played by Dean Norris).   At one time Lyle, (Yoakam) was romantically linked to Big Jim's dead wife.  Yoakam's role of Lyle will also have a strange connection to the Dome, and may even have some reasons why the Dome has encased Chester's Mill.

Along with selling over 25 million albums worldwide, Dwight Yoakam is no stranger to acting and directing.  He's appeared in more than 35 films including 'Sling Blade' and 'Panic Room', and also had a cameo appearance in the 2005 comedy movie 'Wedding Crashers'.

Expect to see Yoakam in several episodes of the second season of the CBS drama which will air again on June 30, 2014.  Take a peek into season 2 of 'Under the Dome'.

Yoakam is also a Grammy Award winner, winning the Grammy Award for "Best Male Country Vocal Performance" in 1993 for the song 'Ain't That Lonely Yet', which he should perform when he opens for Eric Church on December 6th, 2014.
