Sometimes family comes in the way of coaching or so I've heard.

That can be a good thing though and that is exactly what happened with Scott Stevens leaving the Minnesota Wild.

The Hall of Famer has decided to resign from the Minnesota Wild coaching staff after just one season.

Citing his desire to spend more time with his wife and three children, Stevens decided to step away.

The Wild had a record setting season with Stevens on the bench, netting 106 points and a playoff berth.
