Billionaire chocolatier Michele Ferrero passed away Saturday February 14, 2105 - ironically, on Valentine's Day.  He was 89-years old.

Ferrero developed Kinder Chocolates back in 1968, and one year later - Tic Tacs.  And then in 1982, took the candy world by surprise by introducing praline chocolates.

And that's not all.  He's also the man who brought us one of the sweetest things to spread on bread - Nutella.  His dad actually started making Nutella when cocoa was being rationed during World War Two.

Michele Ferrero would eventually become one of the richest men in the world.  According to the most recent figures from Forbes magazine, his family's worth is currently ranked at number 30 in the world.
