Girl With Prosthetic Leg Receives Doll Just Like Her

Courtney Fletcher Bennett daughter, Emma, has a prosthetic leg because of a rare birth defect. Recently the 10-year old celebrated a birthday and her mother, with the help of A Step Ahead Prosthetics, gave her a doll just like her. The company doesn't have a business in doll prosthetics, but it and Emma's parents went above and beyond to bring a smile to her face.

A Step Ahead Prosthetics has facilities in New York, Massacusetts and Israel. According to their website, they customize the dolls at no charge.
