Get a Birds-Eye View of Los Angeles on This Glass Skyscraper Slide

If you have a fear of heights, this might not be for you. However, if you are a bit of a risk-taker, you might want to add this to your bucket list. Visitors to the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles, California will soon be able to get a more "up-close and personal" birds-eye view of the city with the expected new addition of a clear, glass slide on the outside of the building.

Starting in June, 2016 visitors will be able to forego the elevator and just take the slide down from the 70th to the 69th floor of the tallest skyscraper on the west coast. Suspended about 1,000 feet above the ground, those daring enough, can slide down the 45-foot long, 1-1/4 inch clear glass slide from one floor to another, for the low death-defying price of just $8!

The Skyslide, is part of the $50 million renovation of the U.S. Bank Tower that will also include a bar and open-air observation deck on the top floors of the 72-story building.
