Some good news for Country Music Fans.  Check that, GREAT news. George Strait had announced that he was retiring from the full time grind of touring.  He indicated that he wasn't NOT going to ever perform live again, he did say he was going to reign it in and not be gone all the time.

Today we hear more good news out of the 'George Camp,' it was that he was going to continue recording!

The King of Country has inked a new deal with MCA Nashville to record five more albums for the label.  Strait and company president Mike Dungan made the announcement at an event honoring George Monday night in Nashville.

So the good news is?  More George Strait music on the way!  Yes, that makes today a good day!
