One of country musics most iconic songs is about to get a remake. Or so it seems. According to Billboard Magazine, Garth Brooks is set to re-record one of the most requested, most played songs in country music, Friends in Low Places. According to Billboard Magazine:

According to a source, Brooks has re-recorded the song to commemorate its 25th birthday with some friends in high places -- his musical hero George Strait, and Brooks acolytes Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban. Moreover, it is believed that the new version includes the beloved mysterious third verse, not included on the original, but captured on Brooks’ 1998 Double Live album.
