“Forbes” magazine has issued its list of the highest paid musicians for 2015. Katy Perry tops the list with earnings of 135 million dollars, followed by One Direction with 130 million and Garth Brooks with 90 million.

In computing the earnings for a musician, “Forbes” considers what they make as a musician with their recordings and ticket sales, plus any additional income they might have from sponsorships or other businesses, such as restaurants, liquor, sports franchises or real estate.
