Severe thunderstorms rolled through the area Sunday with Sioux Falls residents experiencing a record 2.47" of rain and high winds. While a few others snapped a photos of a funnel cloud that formed on the north side of the city. No sirens sounded. No alerts, watches, or warnings were issued.
Even though the funnel cloud did not touch down, it still got the attention of a few people, and the Weather Channel.
