Our favorite weather guy, (sorry Brian Kirk and Todd Heitkamp - we kinda do like him better than you guys) Frankie MacDonald from Canada says some serious weather could be heading our way on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.

I think I heard the loudest clap of thunder I've ever heard Sunday night, August 16, 2015. We saw some pretty sharp lightning and heard some near ear-shattering thunder, plus picked up quite a bit of rain, but according to Frankie's forecast, we'll probably see some damaging winds along with what we also experienced Sunday night.

We could pick up just over an inch of rain (30 millimeters). Beware, because sewers could back up and we could experience some localized flooding.

With warm, humid air coming from the Gulf of Mexico and the cool air from Canada colliding, that will stir up the severe weather.

Just a reminder, BE PREPARED!  Have your rubber boots and rain coats to keep you dry, order your pizzas, stock up on Coke and make sure your Samsung Galaxy Smartphones are charged.
