Former Nebraska Cornhuskers QB Tommy Armstrong has found a NFL home at least for now.

The former QB turned safety has landed with the Minnesota Vikings.

A few weeks ago it was being reported that he may land in Minnesota, but after it seemed like the door closed because of roster space, the door re-opened this week for Armstrong.

He has signed as a safety and looks to make the opening day 53 man roster while adding depth to the Vikings defensive backfield.

At Nebraska, Tommy Armstrong when 30-13 as their quarterback.
