Monday night at Ronken Field, Roosevelt High School knocked out crosstown rival Washington High School 3-2 in the wild card game to advance to the Class A State Baseball tournament on Saturday.

The Riders' Lucas Wilber was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Roosevelt past Washington. Wilbur had two hits in the game.

With the Riders win over the Warriors on Monday night, the field is set for the Class A tournament. On Saturday, No. 4 seed Roosevelt will face No. 1 seed Mitchell at 10 a.m., and No. 2 seed Brandon Valley will square off against No. 3 seed O'Gorman at 1 p.m.

The third-place game will be played at 4 p.m. followed by the championship game at 7 p.m.

All games will be played at Sioux Falls Stadium.
