Fair Food Accentuates A Great Concert

Last night was a great night at the Sioux Empire Fair.  My wife Lori and I went to the fairgrounds expecting to see a great show.  Kip Moore delivered it!

As we were listening to the great music while Kip performed, we sampled a delectable array of fair foods.  Mind you, we have to have our once a year fix of goodies swimming in grease.  At least some of them.

I first tried the smoked beef brisket with coleslaw while Lori had a gyro.  Both were delicious.  Still hungry, I had a smoked pork loin sandwich.  Yum!

For dessert, we went to the fried foods.  Lori and I shared a funnel cake and also deep fried brownies.  It was the first time I had deep fried brownies.  They were excellent along with chocolate sauce to dip them in.

Overall, it was a great night at the fair.  The food only accentuated a great performance by Kip Moore, especially when he sang Beer Money, Somethin' 'Bout A Truck and Hey Pretty Girl!
