Downtown Sioux Falls Shopping, Dining Gets a Boost With New Openings

The downtown business scene in Sioux Falls will revitalize itself with a three new and exciting stores celebrating grand openings.

MacKenzie River Pizza Grill & Pub, 236 S. Main Avenue (opening 11/9) Features a great variety of specialty appetizers such as fish taco skewers, a mountain of salads, half-pound burgers, and of course, signature pizzas that will have Sioux Falls buzzing. I am very eager to top it off with a Driftboat Amber Ale... or two.

Duluth Trading Co., 320 S Phillips Ave, features durable work wear and outdoor clothing. I've shopped their catalog and am excited to walk through the store. (Also featuring the famous Buck-Naked underwear!) You can even shop past suppertime as they're open till eight - something downtown Sioux Falls really needed.

SHUES by Chelsea’s Boutique, 333 S. Phillips Avenue. Pretty sure while I'm settling in with my second beer from the aforementioned MacKenzie River Pizza, my wife will be heading for this new store on Phillips. She's never been able to simply walk past a good shoe store and Chelsea's will draw her in with a fine selection of unique footwear.
