Dolly Parton will return to television screens across the country this holiday season. The singer's family story continues in late November with the NBC television movie Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

The film will air Nov. 30 on NBC and is the sequel to 2015's Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors. Christmas of Many Colors also follows the story of Parton's childhood. The new storyline has Parton's father, played by Ricky Schroder, dealing with financial struggles as the holiday season approaches.

"What kind of man can't give his family a Christmas?" he questions in the latest 20-second promotional clip. His wife, played by Jennifer Nettles answers his worries.

"We're happy. That's what matters," she says.

Alyvia Alyn Lind returns and plays the part of a young Parton, and the singer also makes an appearance in this year's film. Watch Parton's cameo in the short clip above.

“I was so overwhelmed and touched by how many people watched Coat of Many Colors and their reaction to it,” Parton said in a press release first announcing the new film. “The song Coat of Many Colors, of course, has always been my favorite and has touched so many people through the years, especially me. It is a true story from a very special time in my childhood. I am so happy to share this story with the viewers and to say there is so much more to tell because mine truly has been a life of many colors. I hope the viewers will fall in love all over again.”
