It's official: Dierks Bentley will be co-hosting the 51st annual Academy of Country Music Awards with Luke Bryan. The two celebrate the news by sharing a beer in a new promo clip, revealed Tuesday (Dec. 15) by Bentley.

After debating who his new co-host would be earlier this week — some deep thought and a series of signs that come to fruition — Bryan has a revelation that Bentley should stand beside him for the 2016 ACM Awards.

The clues became more apparent in the above video clip, with guest spots of Bentley dressed up as his character from "Drunk on a Plane," as well as him performing in his country cover band, the Hot Country Knights. But it took Bentley approaching Bryan at a bar for him to put two and two together.

And Bentley couldn't be more excited. "I’m excited to announce that I’ll be joining my friend Luke Bryan to co-host the the 51st ACM - Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 3, 2016!" he writes on social media.

It was also confirmed that the 2016 ACM Awards will take place the first weekend of April, on April 3, 2016, in Las Vegas. The event returns to its Sin City location from last year's 50th anniversary show in Dallas.
