Despite the Controversy, 2015 Miss USA Pageant Will Go on for Miss South Dakota. Meet Miss South Dakota, Lexy Schenk!

The '2015 Miss USA - Confidently Beautiful' pageant still faces problems including a lack of hosts and judges, all stemming from anti-immigration comments made from Donald Trump. But as sources continue to scramble looking for replacement hosts, rehearsals for the pageant, which will take place on Sunday, July 12, 2015 have already begun in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

With almost more problems than can be talked about and just a handful of days until it happens, the 2015 Miss USA pageant did get a bit of good news after the REELZ Channel said it would broadcast the event.

Even though fans of the Miss USA pageant still continue to show their displeasure of the comments made by Mr. Trump, one of the co-owners of the Miss Universe Organization that puts on the pageant, the beautiful young ladies from all 50 states and the District of Columbia just hope that the focus can be directed where it should be - on them.

As the contestants continue to prepare themselves for receiving the crown and title of Miss USA, Lexy Schenk - Miss South Dakota USA, continues to focus on possibly being able to wear the crown of Miss USA and represent the United States in the next Miss Universe pageant.

The 21-year old University of South Dakota nursing student from Irene, South Dakota is proud to be from South Dakota, claiming that the state has the best of both worlds in one state.
