Derek Jeter's career at Yankee Stadium is over, but he went of the Stadium as if it was a Hollywood movie.

In the top of the 9th, the Yankees led the Orioles 5-2. With chants of "Derek Jeter" ringing through the crowd, the Yankees gave up a two run home run with one out. The team secured the second out to more chants of "Derek Jeter." Before the third out could be brought in, the Orioles launched another home run to tie the game. The game would have to go to the bottom of the 9th.

As the baseball god's would have it, Jeter was set to bat 3rd in the inning. As the baseball god's would have it, Jose Pirela managed to get on base (was replaced with Antoan Richardson as PR). Gardner had the sacrifice out to get Richardson to second. That set up the hollywood ending.

Jeter stepped up to the plate for the last time. The chants of "Derek Jeter" quickly turned into chaos as Jeter lined a single to right bringing in Richardson for the game-winning walk off run.

It was one of, if not the, most perfect ending. The 100% chance of rain stayed away allowing the Yankees, and Major League Baseball, to give Jeter this opportunity.

For me, I couldn't help but get emotional. I grew up watching Jeter. I can't begin to tell you how many Jeter T-shirts, or jersey's I've had over my life. He is my favorite Yankee.

Where does this moment rank for me? It's the best Jeter moment of all. His 3,000th hit I would put as second.

Just watch and enjoy. Farewell Captain.
