It was switch up week on Dancing With the Stars.

The partnerships were voted on by fans via Twitter.  For the most part, the new partnerships were results in some pretty good dances.

Here are the performances from Amy and Meryl:

Impressive!

If you can believe it, I had a few other observations that didn't make my first review.

This season saw the return of the Macy's Stars of Dance performance.  It was nixed last year when the results show was combined with the performance show.

Derek Hough took over creative control of the Macy's Stars of Dance and I'm sure glad he did.  Shirtless dudes dancing?!?! Me gusta!

As I mentioned before Julianne Hough was back as a guest judge and she isn't afraid to tell it like it is.

She threw Maks under the bus saying he phoned this performance in because it was the switch up week.  Maks of course denied it.  Last time Julianne was a guest judge she was mean to my lover, Mark Ballas.

Cody Simpson decided to sing at the beginning of his performance and I just thought it was too much cheese.  I get he's a teen heartthrob kind of, but it is a show about dancing, not singing.  Anyway, it just bugged me.

Again, I hope Candace Cameron Bure doesn't get eliminated because her partner is my favorite, Mark Ballas.

I also am partial to Drew Carey because he's just having a good time, but he could be in danger as well.

At this point in the show nobody is really really really bad so it is a toss up.

We will have to wait and see!
