It was icon night on DWTS and the celebrities honored the people they look up to and inspire them in their performances.

The playing field is down to seven now and everybody is pretty darn good.

The standout performance for me was Nick and Sharna's contemporary.

The internet was buzzing last week with the news that Nick Carter and his wife, Lauren, were expecting. But I found it interesting that Nick hadn't made it official on any of his official social media or anything. Now I know why. They were saving it for the cameras.

Nick picked Lauren as his icon and inspiration. And they confirmed that they are expecting their first child after a year of trying. Nick was and is my favorite Backstreet Boy so some would assume that I instantly hate Lauren, but actually, from what I saw on their reality show on VH1, I really like her. She is super smart, and knows different languages, and had a troubled childhood much like Nick. She seems cool.

But about the dancing. It was really good, I got goosebumps. Sharna really knows how to put a performance together. Love.

And doing the gender reveal on the show was a nice touch. It's a boy!

Nick got a perfect score, which earned him immunity from the Dance Offs.

The six couples that were left danced head to head in various styles and were given extra points based on judge's scores.

But in the end, Andy Grammer was sent home. He was most definitely not the best dancer, but he was just fun to watch and had a great attitude. His partner, Allison, is also expecting, so maybe now she will get some rest.

I said it last week and I still think it's true. I think Alek will be the next to go.
