The 9th Annual Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon is coming up on March 31st and April 1st, 2016 at the Sanford Children's Hospital Castle of Care. This event is very near and dear to Ben's and my heart. The reasons are many and varied, but first and foremost, it is the children and their families.

The monies raised directly support children battling cancer and their families with; expenses not covered by insurance, meal, travel, and lodging vouchers. Funds also go to support specialized child-size equipment, the work of the Child Life department and last, but certainly not least- -research.

We have lost many of our kids over these 9 years. That has been the hard part. The best part? It is watching those who are cured, grow up, thrive and arrive! It has been an eye-opening honor and a gift to be part of this event and it couldn't happen without all of the extraordinary volunteers who help make it happen.

If you would like to be a part of this remarkable two-day event The Helpline Center is signing up volunteers. You can put together a team and spend time at the radiothon with friends or even family. You'll be answering phones, registering people, selling merchandise, playing with children in the Kid's Activity Area and more.
