Authorities in Iowa say a person of interest in connection with a Sioux Falls shooting Friday April 22, 2016 is now in Plymouth County Jail being treated as a victim.

26 year old Lachara Bordeaux was at the Le Mars Truck stop asking for help early Monday morning April 25, 2016, claiming she has been held at gun point since the shooting took place Friday April 22 in the parking lot of the Lucky Lady Casino at 11th and Duluth in Sioux Falls.

Authorities identified Bordeaux as the driver of a stolen vehicle with shooting suspect Jared Jerome Stone as a passenger.  Baptiste White Eyes was shot in the head once and again after falling to the pavement.  He later died in a Sioux Falls hospital.

Although Iowa officials are treating her as a victim, Bordeaux was arrested on two counts of accessory and is being held on a $1 million cash bond and faces extradition before a Plymouth county judge on Wednesday April 27, 2016.

Police say they believe 20-year-old Jared Stone, murder suspect, is also in Iowa and was with Bordeaux Monday night. He is being sought in a four door 1998 Dark Blue Chevy Lumina with South Dakota plates.
