Colt Ford and Jason Aldean Team up on New Song

When I heard this song for the first time, it got me wondering.  And thinking.  And wondering some more.  'Drivin' Around Song, the new Colt Ford song, (a collaboration with Country Mega Star Jason Aldean hit the airwaves on Kickin' Country on Tuesday.  And it made a big splash.

I was wondering, and thinking because it's so different.  Yep, it's a 'rap' song interspersed with Jason Aldean singing.  The more I listened to it though I realized the lyric is the strength of the song and it is spot on.

Jason Farris Brown (born August 27, 1970) known professionally as Colt Ford, is an American country music rapper and former professional golfer. He has released four albums via Average Joes Entertainment, which he co-founded. Ford has charted six times on the Hot Country Songs charts, and co-wrote Jason Aldean's 2011 single "Dirt Road Anthem".

Colt will be making an appearance here in Kickin' Country too.  He's opening for Florida Georgia Line October 3rd at Swiftel Center in Brookings.
