Chelsea Clinton will be in Sioux Falls on Wednesday (October 5) to campaign for her mother Hillary Clinton on the campus of Augustana University at the Froiland Science Complex from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Doors to the event open at 4:45 p.m.

Chelsea plans to discuss Hillary Clinton's tax plan, building an economy and her support for her mother and running mate Tim Kaine.

Event fundraising is also being arranged for those who will pay $1,000 to have a picture taken with her at the home of former South Dakota Attorney General Brendan Johnson during a private gathering.

Executive Director of the South Dakota Democratic Party Suzanne Jones Pranger released the following statement in response to the visit.
"It is exciting to welcome another member of the Clinton family to South Dakota. The Clinton/Kaine campaign is clearly committed to earning the vote of South Dakotans who feel we are stronger together than we are apart."
"When President Bill Clinton visited the State earlier this year, he laid out Hillary Clinton's plan to create an economy that works for all Americans, including rural communities that are often left behind. We anticipate Chelsea Clinton will share a similar message that shows the Clinton/Kaine campaign has the best plan for working families and rural America."
