A 56-year-old Sioux Falls woman is charged after a car-motorcycle crash early Sunday at 10th Street and Lowell Avenue.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says a motorist going north on Lowell Avenue stopped at the flashing red light at 10th Street, then drove into the intersection to turn left when her car was struck on the driver's side by a motorcycle going east:

The motorcycle driver, Quintin McMartin, had head injuries, a possible broken leg and arm and internal bleeding, while his passenger, Michelle Tarian, sustained a broken leg, skull fracture and a brain bleed.

The car driver, Cynthia Louise Goeman, was arrested for fourth-offense DWI, two counts of vehicular battery, no license, no seat belt and failure to yield.
