The Brothers Osborne have earned their very first No. 1 single with "Stay a Little Longer."

"Stay a Little Longer" comes off of the duo's debut album, Pawn Shop, which earned the No. 3 spot on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and the No. 10 slot on the all-genre Billboard Top Albums Chart following its release. Brothers John and TJ Osborne wrote the song with Shane McAnally, and veteran producer Jay Joyce produced the track.

“We can’t believe it,” John Osborne says in a press release. "Thank you to every person that supported this tune. We did this together.”

Adds his brother, TJ Osborne, "It’s a dream come true."

In addition to being a No. 1 song, "Stay a Little Longer," is up for Best Country Duo / Group Performance at the 2016 Grammy Awards. The success of the tune is undoubtedly in part to its attention-getting music video, which shows several different couples, including an interracial couple and a same-sex couple, in various stages of their relationships — a concept that the Osbornes came up with all on their own.

“We were like, ‘If we make a video that’s just kind of really predictable and is just saying what the song’s saying, there’s no point in launching it,'” TJ Osborne tells The Boot. “And it’s also really nice to be able to have a video to add some more depth and say more to the song than you can in the three or four minutes you have to say it.

“We all are very tied together by the same emotions,” he continues. “We’re very different people in so many different ways, but we all feel the same struggles of love, and we really wanted to tell that story. I think that’s something we all have in common.”

“Stay a Little Longer” is available for purchase on iTunes. More information about Brothers Osborne can be found on their website.
