Iconic country duo Brooks & Dunn reunited for a special performance of "My Maria" at the 50th Annual ACM Awards on Sunday night (April 19).

Keith Urban introduced the pair, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, by telling a memorable story. "Back in the '90s, I was in a little band called the Ranch, and we played in a little place called Jack's Guitar Bar, and one night Kix Brooks came to see us play, and he loved our band so much he took us out on the road with them. We got to open for Brooks & Dunn. We didn't even have a record deal!" he recalled with a smile.

Urban also presented the duo with a Milestone Award.

Brooks & Dunn are the most decorated duo in ACM history. The pair won 27 ACM awards, which is more than any other artist. They won the Top Vocal Duo award 16 times, including eight consecutive awards.

Although Brooks & Dunn officially parted ways in 2010, the music's not over for their fans. This summer, they will participate in a Vegas residency with Reba McEntire.
