This morning I was having a quick cup of coffee before getting started with some of my morning chores and was in the control room visiting with Dan Collins.   We were exchanging notes on who did what last night when the phone rang.  If you missed that conversation click on the player below.

That conversation brought back a flood of memories of high school and some of the fun (and sometimes trouble) that I was a part of growing up in Lyman County.  That conversation also got me thinking that it's just about as good and maybe better to actually have kids who are going through that part of life today.   Two of our boys have graduated from high school and our youngest is a junior at Washington High.   Homecoming can be a great time of year.

How about you?  Are you in high school now and going through homecoming this week or coming up soon?  Or, are you a parent or grand parent who will be going to the game and watching proudly as your local high school team takes the field.

It doesn't matter if they are the homecoming queen or king or the star of the football team or they play in the band or just go and hang out with their friends.  You're all just taking part in one of the neatest times in growing up or parenting.   Heck, it might be one of the neatest times in your life!  Homecoming.

Oh, and don't forget to post any pics of your big game or home coming to our facebook. We love to hear from you!   Also find out more about Football Friday Nights. Here's another one of my favorite things about fall and football.  Kenny Chesney's The Boys of Fall.
