Bomb Threat At Empire Mall Sioux Falls

According to the Sioux Falls Police Department someone called the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls at about 6:40 on Monday night to say a bomb was located somewhere inside the Mall.

The Sioux Falls Police and the Empire Mall Security conducted a thorough search of the Empire Mall and no bomb was found.

The Empire Mall was not evacuated and the threatening call was found to be uncredible.

Some Empire Mall employees have expressed concern as to why they were not notified that a bomb threat had been called in and a search was underway.
