There is no better place to be on a hot sunny day than catching some rays, sticking your toes in the sand and catching some waves at the beach. Purewow.com recently did a survey on the "Best Beach in Every State" and they say that the best beach in South Dakota can be found just south of the Black Hills on the Cheyenne River.

According to the site: Angostura Reservoir is known for crystal-clear waters and 36 miles of flat, sandy coastline. With the average lake summer temperature of 66 degrees, the area boasts many water sports and summer fun activities such as camping, boating, swimming and fishing. The area is open  year round 27/4 but a State Park entrance license is required: $6 per day, per vehicle or $30 for an annual pass.
