On the Sunday after Christmas, 36-year old Angel Schroeder was found dead in her home. Her live-in boyfriend is in the Minnehaha County Jail facing charges that he killed her.

The story is tragic enough right there, but Schroeder leaves behind two children from a previous relationship. An 11-year old daughter and an 8-year old son. The father of the kids, according to family, 'is not in the picture.' No child support or any financial assistance is coming from there.

Schroeder's mother, who was getting ready to retire, is keeping her job for now as she has been granted temporary custody of the children. Family members are trying to help as much as they can but raising and caring for two kids, as many of you know, can be expensive, so a memorial fund in Angel's name to help take care of her children, has been established at First Premier Bank.

Any size donation is appreciated and will help. Simply stop at any First Premier Bank and tell them you want to contribute to the Angel Schroeder Fund.

Thank you for your generosity.
