Ball: A musical Tribute To My Lost Testicle

That really is the name of a musical that you can see this weekend right here in Sioux Falls. From here on out I will just refer to it as Ball.

I've told you before about The Good Night Theatre Collective's monthly cabarets, and now they are bringing in a featured performance by Max Wotjanowicz. Ball is the real life story of Max Wotjanowicz's battle with testicular cancer.

Max was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer in 2016 and instead of getting down about it, he wrote songs about it!

Sydney Place-Salstrom, a founding member of The Good Night Theatre Collective said this of the show:

It’s a hilarious, heartwarming, honest show that very much resembles the style of our cabarets. It’s being performed in a “thrust” style which means audience members will sit on all three sides of the stage with close access to the performer! If nothing else, it’s a chance for mimosas and theater during brunch!

The show will have two performances at The Icon Event Hall and Lounge downtown. The first show is April 29th at 8 PM and a matinee performance on April 30th at 2 PM.

If you're still on the fence about going to this show, maybe this will cement it for you, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to SURVIVEiT. SURVIVEiT was started right here in Sioux Falls by Matt Ellofson after he was diagnosed with lung cancer. SURVIVEiT is the only non-profit cancer care rating resource.

So in conclusion, Ball will be showing April 29th and 30th at The Icon Event Hall and Lounge and 50% of ticket sales will go to SURVIVEiT. So what are you waiting for?
