Baby Bobcat visits Iowa Hunter in Tree Stand

Wendell Van Beek from Sioux Center, Iowa was out hunting last month in Woodbury County and got a unexpected surprise. While sitting in his tree stand, a deer emerged from the woods along with a bobcat and 3 cubs.

What happened next took him by surprise. One of cubs actually climbed up the tree and was within inches of him. Van Beek Van Beek told KMEG-TV:

"I heard kind of a thunk sitting right beside me and looked down and there sat one of the babies right next to me. Listening to the mama below and actually there were deer out in front of me and they were snorting and stomping at the mama underneath me."
