The University of Sioux Falls fell one win shy of qualifying for the NSIC baseball tournament. The Cougars defeated Winona State 4-2 in the opener of Sunday's doubleheader and had the tying run at the plate in the nightcap, but the Warriors held on for a 9-8 victory to end the Cougars' season.

The Cougars dropped game one to Northern State 5-2.

The University of Sioux Falls suffered a heart-breaking setback in a doubleheader loss to Upper Iowa on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars were mercied in game one, 11-1, and looked to have a split until the Peacocks hit a walk-off two run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 4-2 win in game two.
