I’ve been a part of the Sioux Falls media for nearly 25 years. I grew up in Southern California, and graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Communications in 1986. I got my start in television later that year at KNAZ-TV in Flagstaff, Arizona. I moved to Sioux Falls in 1989 to become Sports Director at KSFY-TV, a position I held for more than eight years. During that time I was named ‘Sportscaster of the Year’ by the South Dakota Associated Press. My radio career began in January 2000. I live in Sioux Falls with my wife, Vicki. I have two daughters, Ashley and Alison, and one Grandson, Link.

The Lake Andes native is the first Coyote male track and field athlete to ever compete in nationals at the Division I level.

Former South Dakota State Pitcher Caleb Thielbar Gets First Win with Minnesota Twins

When Ryan Doumit's two-run triple in the ninth inning gave the Minnesota Twins a 5-4 win over the Seattle Mariners, Saturday afternoon at Target Field, it also marked the first major league victory for former South Dakota State pitcher Caleb Thielbar.

Theilbar came on in relief in the top of the ninth, with the Twins trailing 4-2.  He retired the Mariners after giving up a single to Endy Chave

South Dakota State Getting Ready for NCAA Baseball Tournament [PHOTOS]

South Dakota State's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division I Baseball begins Friday night in Eugene, Oregon, as the Summit League Tournament champs play the host Ducks at 8:05pm Central.

The Jackrabbits are 35-22 overall, Oregon is the number eight team in the nation with a 45-14 record
