Argument Over Debt Leads Sioux Falls Man to Attack His Brother with a Metal Pipe
Lieutenant Matt Burns says it was shortly before 1:00 a.m. when officers were called to the 400 block of East 5th Street.
“One person had gotten into a verbal arguement over a possible settlement of a debt [and] thought the argument was over,” explained Lt. Burns. “Then the suspect came back and hit him in the head with a metal pipe. An ambulance treated the person at the scene and transported him to Avera for non-life threatening injuries.”
Burns says the suspect, 33-year-old Willylon Denoyer, was arrested on a charge of domestic aggravated assault.
The victim was his 44-year-old brother.
